Tony Giles Tony Giles – Managing Director

Tony established the AWDS Group in 1988 and has over 35 years of experience and extensive knowledge in Third Party Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Tony has made a major investment of time and personal effort to ensure the success and growth of AWDS from a “greenfield” site to the dynamic service orientated, viable logistics business of today. This extensive industry knowledge and commitment to Online Technology with a very determined “hands on” approach has created the considerable growth of the AWDS Group business since inception, firmly placing the business at the forefront of Third Party Logistics providers in Adelaide. Tony is a member of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Logistics Association of Australia Pty Ltd.
Rob Perry Rob Perry FPNA – Finance Manager

Rob joined the AWDS Group in 1998 in the role of Finance Manager. He is responsible for managing the AWDS Group’s Financial Systems and the integration with all other Management Systems including risk management, human resources, information technology and management accounting. This is provided with a strong focus on logistics. His background emanates from a long professional accounting career in a wide range of business enterprises which has provided the foundation from which Rob is able to provide the managerial guidance necessary including the integration of new clients and processes in Third Party Logistics. Rob is a Fellow Professional National Accountant member of the National Institute of Accountants.
Bill Raymont Bill Raymont – Operations Manager

Having joined the AWDS Group in its infancy in 1989, Bill brought with him eight years experience in Warehousing and Distribution gained through a nationally recognised organisation. Having now spent 20 plus years in the field of Third Party Logistics, Bill has the knowledge and expertise to bring together all the benefits that the AWDS Group has to offer, providing our principals with the advantage they expect in receiving an optimum service for their customers.
Tim Paul Tim Paul – IT Systems Manager

Tim has a great deal of experience in the computer industry, having started in 1977. This wide-ranging background in IT encompasses a variety of business types including warehousing, logistics, computer support (Helpdesk) and computer education. Tim has been in his role as IT Systems Manager since 2005 and has brought a comprehensive knowledge base in system development to further the advancements that are being achieved by enhancing the underlying AWDS Client Warehouse Management System. He also brings an excellent customer service approach which further complements our existing culture. Tim works closely with our principals to ensure compatible systems are implemented and maintained. His extensive knowledge and experience ensures we preserve our position at the forefront of warehouse and transport management system technology.
Lily Polet Lily Polet – Warehouse Manager (Health & Cosmetics)

Lily has been with the AWDS Group since 1992. During this time she has overseen and contributed to growth in our involvement in many business types. Lily manages a team specifically dedicated to service our principals in such industries as Health & Cosmetics, Education, Optical, Giftware and Plumbing. Lily’s team are experienced in an broad based environment that is high volume, fast moving, with a focus on intense pick‘n’pack operations meeting standards in volumes and accuracy that make us a clear leader in our industry. Through her management style Lily ensures a smooth transition for new clients under her control.
John DeansJohn Deans – Warehouse Supervisor

John is another of our long term employees having been with the AWDS Group since 1994. In the role of Warehouse Supervisor he provides strong support to the Management Group and guidance to our growing team of warehouse professionals. John’s interpersonal skills and relationship building abilities give our principals a strong sense of belonging within our company. Additional skills and management areas include OH&S compliance, Chief Warden and First Aid Management ensuring a healthy and safe workplace.
Mackenzie JarvisMackenzie “Macca” Jarvis - Trainee Manager

Macca joined the AWDS Group in 2008 as a Storeperson and through continued dedication and application the role of Trainee Manager has been created with him providing support to the Management Group. Macca’s longer term focus is to identifying process improvement for Business and Customer Development with the view to creating a stronger relationship with our Customers.
